Ranvir Gujral is a private equity investor and entrepreneur. He is the founder and managing partner of Sleeping Bear Capital, a founder-first private equity firm that invests in and acquires strong businesses across defense, technology, manufacturing, and eCommerce. The firm focuses on business unit spinouts and mature founder-led businesses that need a new capital stack and fresh energy to reach their fullest potential. Previously co-founder and CEO of Chute, a marketing SaaS business that was backed by Y Combinator, Foundry Group, USVP, and Salesforce Ventures, and which sold to a PE firm in 2018, and private equity investor at Silver Lake and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.

Kate is a focused operator with extensive experience in early stage sales organizations and go-to-market motion for new products and sales verticals. Kate previously lead Nova (Acquired by AngelList) as Head of Revenue, where she joined as the fourth employee and was responsible for building out the sales team, leading enterprise partnerships, and launching new products, ultimately growing revenue by 300% YoY and securing the initial Series A Fundraising. Kate has a proven track record in operations and additional experience as the second employee at AltoIRA and operations manager for distressed bank examinations with the FDIC. She hold a finance degree from George Washington University and resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Alexandra Lewin

Alexandra is an associate at Sleeping Bear Capital. She joined the firm in September 2021 after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Psychology and Integrated Marketing Communications. She previously worked at Fermata Discovery, a female-founded software development firm, where she created data visualization tools and designed the ui/ux. At SBC Alex is responsible for liaising with SBC’s portfolio companies, sourcing new deals, and optimizing branding and go-to-market strategy.
